What We Do

Access Application

After submitting your access application, here’s an overview of the subsequent steps.

Submission of Access Application

Shippers are required to fill out the Access Application form found on the Gas Malaysia Distribution (GMD) website and email it to [email protected].

Processing of Access Application (Approval/Rejection)

Within 7 business days

Shippers must submit a complete Access Application form with all supporting documents. GMD will send an acknowledgement email and evaluate the application within 7 business days before a notice of approval or rejection is communicated via email.

Reserved Firm Capacity Application (RFCA)

Shippers with approved access may apply to GMD for Reserved Firm Capacity (RFC) by completing and submitting application form published on GMD’s website.

Processing of Reserved Firm Capacity (Approval/Rejection)

Within 30 days

GMD shall approve or reject an RFCA no later than 30 days after submission by shipper.

Signing of Gas Distribution Agreement

Within 7 business days

Upon approval of RFCA by GMD, a Distribution Charge Security Requirement will be applicable to the Shipper and within seven days of approval, Shipper and GMD will enter into a Gas Distribution Agreement (GDA).

Submission of Daily/Monthly Nomination of Capacity

A day before at 10am (daily) or 7 days before at 12 noon (monthly)

Shipper is required to submit nominations for gas based on its Reserved Capacity a day before at 10am (daily) of 7 days before at 12 noon (monthly)

Delivery of gas to consumers through NGDS on behalf of Shippers

REIDC department will file the Shipper’s Access Application form and the supporting documents in the shipper’s individual folder for safekeeping.
