Shippers are required to fill out the Access Application form found on the Gas Malaysia Distribution (GMD) website and email it to [email protected].
Shippers must submit a complete Access Application form with all supporting documents. GMD will send an acknowledgement email and evaluate the application within 7 business days before a notice of approval or rejection is communicated via email.
GMD shall approve or reject an RFCA no later than 30 days after submission by shipper.

Gas Malaysia Distribution (“GMD”) wishes to inform that under the Incentive-Based Regulation (“IBR”) framework, the Base Average Tariff for users of the Natural Gas Distribution System, has been set at [RM1.880/GJ/day]. The Base Average Tariff will be implemented for Regulatory Period 3 (“RP3”), covering period from 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2028.
In addition, GMD’s Distribution Tariff under the IBR framework for all types of utilisation is [RM2.114/GJ/day] for the period from 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2026 after incorporating annual IBR tariff adjustment.
